After play has finished on Tuesday, the women’s quarterfinals are officially in the books at Wimbledon and the semifinal matchups are now set.

In the day’s final match, No. 3 Agnieszka Radwanska took on No. 17 Maria Kirilenko for the final spot in the semifinals. Kirilenko managed to force a third set, but could not put Radwanska away. Radwanska ultimately prevailed, 7-5, 4-6, 7-5.

With the win, Radwanska now advances to take on German player Angelique Kerber in the semifinals. Kerber eliminated countrywoman Sabine Lisicki in an epic three-set match earlier on Tuesday, 6-3, 6-7 (7-9), 7-5.

The other semifinal match in the women’s singles tournament will pit No. 2 Victoria Azarenka against No. 6 Serena Williams. Both women advanced with straight-set wins on Tuesday.
