Grand Slam tennis is set to pick up on Sunday, with the 2013 French Open at Roland Garros. It’s been four months since Novak Djokovic and Victoria Azarenka picked up their wins at the Australian Open, and a lot has happened since then.
French Open 2013: TV schedule and matches for Sunday at Roland Garros
The French Open gets going proper on Sunday, so here’s a TV schedule and a look at some of the notable players in action.

Rafael Nadal is back from extensive injuries since the aforementioned Australian Open, and he’s looking to defend his title from last year by picking up his eighth win at the French Open.
He won’t be in action on Sunday, though. He’s the No. 3 seed for the tournament, and won’t be in action until the following day. Djokovic, accordingly, will not be in action until the same day, as the No. 1 seed.
Roger Federer, the No. 2 seed on the men’s side, will be taking on Pablo Carreno-Busta on Sunday, though. No. 4 seed David Ferrer will also be in action, and he’s taking on Marinko Matosevic. Other top names such as Gilles Simon, Milos Raonic and Sam Querrey will be in action.
On the women’s side, top seed Serena Williams, No. 5 seed Sara Errani and No. 11 Nadia Petrova will be among the names in action.
Live coverage of the day can be found on multiple networks. Coverage will start out at 5 a.m. ET on ESPN2, and will run until 10 a.m., when the Tennis Channel will pick up coverage through 3 p.m. NBC will have concurrent coverage with the Tennis Channel beginning at 12 p.m. through 3 p.m., so there will be plenty of coverage to catch your attention.
