French Open 2013: TV schedule and matches for Sunday at Roland Garros

Roger Federer, David Ferrer and Serena Williams will all be in action on Sunday at the 2013 French Open.

Most of the top seeds advanced once again Saturday at Roland Garros, including No. 1 Novak Djokovic and No. 3 Rafael Nadal, though the latter struggled early in his match for the third time this tournament. One top seed was unseated, though, as No. 8 Janko Tipsarevic lost to No. 29 Mikhail Youzhny, 6-4, 6-4, 6-3.

On Sunday, the fourth round gets underway. No. 2 Roger Federer faces his first big test of the tournament in No. 15 Gilles Simon, and No. 4 David Ferrer takes on No. 23 Kevin Anderson. On the women’s side, No. 1 Serena Williams will take on No. 15 Roberta Vinci.

French Open TV coverage begins at 5 a.m. ET on the Tennis Channel, and it will run through 1 p.m. At that point, NBC will take over coverage until 4 p.m., which should be plenty of time for the day’s matches to finish, provided the weather doesn’t interrupt as it did in earlier rounds.
