The first major of the season has been filled with plot twists, and Day 10 was no different.

On Tuesday, the 2014 Australian Open continued and saw another upset of a high seed.

This time it was in the women’s draw, where No. 2 seed and defending Aussie Open champion Victoria Azarenka was knocked out by fifth-seeded Agnieszka Radwanska 6-1, 5-7, 6-0 in the quarterfinals. Outside of a hotly contested second set, Radwanska destroyed Azarenka in order to advance.

For Azarenka, the loss snapped her 18-match winning streak at Melbourne.

On Wednesday, Radwanska will face No. 20 Dominika Cibulkova of Russia, while the other semifinal consists of fourth-ranked Li Na and Canadian Eugenie Bouchard.

On the men’s side of the draw, top-seeded Rafael Nadal kept on his path toward the final, beating No. 22 Grigor Dimitrov in four sets, 3-6, 7-6 (7-3), 7-6 (9-7), 6-2. Roger Federer pulled off a mild upset, topping England’s Andy Murray in a 6-3, 6-4, 6-7, 6-3 contest.

With the win, Federer sets up another epic clash against Nadal in the semifinals. Despite Federer not being the dominant player he was a few years ago, tennis doesn’t have a better rivalry than the Spaniard and the Switzerland native going at it.

The other men’s semi is No. 7 Tomas Berdych vs. eighth-ranked Stanislas Wawrinka.
