2015 Australian Open TV coverage and schedule for Thursday’s matches

Top seeds Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams get underway in second-round action on Thursday afternoon at the 2015 Australian Open in Melbourne.

Djokovic, who beat qualifier Aljaz Bedene in straight sets in the first round Tuesday, will take on Andrey Kuznetsov of Russia at Rod Laver Arena in the third of three matches beginning at 7 p.m. ET. The second of those three matches is Williams, taking on Vera Zvonareva of Russia in the second round. Williams has won the Australian Open five times, the last time in 2010. She beat Alison Van Uytvanck 6-0, 6-4 in Round 1.

Defending champion and No. 4 seed Stan Wawrinka takes on Marius Copil at Margaret Court Arena, following women’s No. 18 seed Venus Williams against fellow American Lauren Davis at 7 p.m. It will be a busy day for top seeds with five men ranked in the top 10 set to take the court while four top-eight seeds on the women’s side will be in action.
