Day 6 of the 2015 Australian Open is highlighted by several matchups between seeded players as we complete the third round and progress into the weekend.

Men’s No. 1 seed Novak Djokovic has coasted to a pair of straight-set wins, dropping 14 total games in six sets so far in Melbourne. He gets a challenge on Saturday in No. 31 Fernando Verdasco of Spain, with No. 19 John Isner potentially waiting in the Round of 16.

Another intriguing matchup is No. 9 David Ferrer facing No. 18 Gilles Simon, who beat Ferrer in four sets in the Round of 32 at the 2014 U.S. Open in September. Ferrer is 5-2 all-time against Simon.

On the women’s side, top seed Serena Williams faces No. 26 Elina Svitolina, while No. 6 Agnieszka Radwanska battles No. 30 Varvara Lepchenko. The winner of the Radwanska-Lepchenko match potentially faces No. 18 Venus Williams in the fourth round. Radwanska is 5-2 all-time against Lepchenko, with their one grand slam meeting coming at the 2007 Australian Open, an opening-round three-set win for Radwanska.

Television coverage for Saturday in Australia begins at 3 p.m. ET on Friday on ESPN2, with same-day coverage for three hours, followed by live coverage on ESPN2 from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. Saturday morning.

Online coverage of the Australia Open is available on WatchESPN.
