Australian Open 2015 live streaming: How to watch Week 2 online

Many big names are still in it as the Australian Open enters its second week.

The 2015 Australian Open is in full swing and it’s been plenty entertaining thus far. The tournament started off with a bang when top-seeded contenders Ana Ivanovic and Angelique Kerber, along with six other seeded women, fell on the first day. There were a handful of minor upsets from then on, but the big one came in the third round.

That’s when unseeded Italian Andreas Seppi took down the men’s No. 2 seed, Roger Federer, 6-4, 7-6 (7-5), 4-6, 7-6 (7-5). That was huge, and completely changed the scope of the tournament. Top seeds Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal are still in the discussion, of course, along with Andy Murray and others, but Federer was healthy and playing solid tennis coming into the first Grand Slam of the year.

The first week of the tournament is in the books, and one week remains. The Round of 16 will continue on Monday (local time -- the second half of the fourth round will begin on Sunday night and finish on Monday morning for folks in the United States), with the quarterfinals for both the men’s and women’s singles brackets set to get underway on Tuesday. It will all culminate in the men’s final on Sun., Feb. 1.

Coverage of the event will continue in much the same way as it has. The Tennis Channel will continue to carry early coverage, with ESPN2 taking the bulk of the matches through to the following morning. The exceptions will be the men’s semifinals, finals and women’s finals, which will all be broadcast on ESPN’s flagship network. Watching online is the same as it was the first week, with every match available on WatchESPN and coverage through the Australian Open website.
