Every match from here on out at the 2016 Australian Open will be the toughest test each competitor will have faced throughout the tournament. There are no “gimmie” matches at this stage. The Round of 16 will wrap up on Monday, and they will try and get through easier than either Novak Djokovic or Tomas Berdych did on Sunday.
2016 Australian Open: Schedule, TV coverage and live stream for Monday
Andy Murray and Stan Wawrinka will both be in action on Monday.

Both of those two struggled and were pushed to five sets, but both made it into the quarterfinals. On Monday, No. 2 seed Andy Murray will be taking on No. 16 Bernard Tomic. Djokovic is still the favorite after going the distance against Gilles Simon, but Murray has been playing excellent tennis and can make a statement by dominating Tomic on Monday.
No. 4 seed Stan Wawrinka is also still in the discussion, and he has a tough match against No. 13 Milos Raonic. No. 8 David Ferrer will face American and No. 10 seed John Isner and finally, No. 23 seed Gael Monfils will be taking on Andrey Kuznetsov.
On the women’s side, there aren’t many high seeds left. Both Serena Williams, the top seed, and No. 4 Agnieszka Radwanska made it through on the other half of the bracket, but in this half, the highest seed is No. 7 Angelique Kerber. She is set to face Annika Beck in her Round of 16 match.
No. 14 Victoria Azarenka will face Barbora Strycova, No. 15 Madison Keys will take on Shuai Zhang and No. 21 seed Ekaterina Makarova will face Johanna Konta. All four seeded women on the day will be facing unseeded competition.
