French Open 2016: Times, TV schedule, matches and live stream for Day 9 at Roland Garros

The Williams sisters, Novak Djokovic and Agnieszka Radwanska will all be in Round of 16 action at Roland Garros on Monday.

Susan Mullane-USA TODAY Sports

The field at the 2016 French Open is getting slimmer and slimmer as the Round of 16 is set to conclude on Monday, giving way to the quarterfinals. But there’s more than the eight matches originally scheduled across both of the top singles brackets, as both Agnieszka Radwanska and Simona Halep have postponed matches to finish up.

Halep, the sixth seed for the women, will finish her match against No. 21 Samantha Stosur bright and early on Court 1 on Monday. Radwanska, the second seed, will conclude her match against the unseeded Tsvetana Pironkova. Halep held a 5-3 lead in the first set while Radwanska led in the second set, up one already, 6-2, 3-0 before their matches were postponed.

But Monday will also feature the top two seeds in the tournament in Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams. Djokovic will be taking on No. 14 Roberto Bautista Agut while Williams will face No. 18 Elina Svitolina. Williams is trying for her 22nd Grand Slam title, which would tie Steffi Graf for the record. Her sister, Venus, will also be in action up against No. 8 seed Timea Bacsinszky.

As they did last round, the Williams sisters will have their matches one after the other. They can meet in the semifinals if both continue to win. Other top players in action include Tomas Berdych -- the seventh seed for the men who will go up against David Ferrer, the No. 11 seed -- and American Madison Keys, the No. 15 seed for the women.

Television coverage of the day begins at 5 a.m. ET on the Tennis Channel. Their coverage will run through 3 p.m. NBC will pick up coverage on their flagship network at 11 a.m. and will run concurrently with Tennis Channel, with the latter presumably covering doubles matchups. Online streaming is available at NBC Sports Live Extra and the Tennis Channel.
