Though rain wiped out an entire day of matches and several partial days, the 2016 French Open is finally back on track with two days remaining. There won’t be a day of rest for either of the women participating in the final on Saturday due to the delays, but both have looked great throughout the tournament thus far and an exciting match is surely around the corner.
French Open 2016: Times, TV schedule, matches and live stream for Saturday
Serena Williams is going for her 22nd Grand Slam title on Saturday. Garbine Muguruza is going for her first.

Top seed Serena Williams is still shooting for her 22nd Grand Slam title after falling short in the finals of the Australian Open earlier this year. If she manages to secure a title on Saturday, she will tie Steffi Graf for the record for most Grand Slam wins in the Open era.
But she’ll have to go through an opponent she’s only faced four times, and one she’ll certainly see a lot more in the coming years in Garbine Muguruza.
Muguruza, the No. 4 seed, is playing in her first French Open final and her second Grand Slam final ever after appearing in the final at Wimbledon last year. She has never won a Grand Slam title, though, and has only made it as far as the fourth round at the Australian Open and the second round at the US Open. She’s very, very green in comparison to Williams.
But she does have one thing going for her: she has beaten Williams once, and on the familiar clay of Roland Garros back in 2014. That was a straight-set victory for Muguruza, though Williams has won the other three meetings between the two. That includes Muguruza’s only other finals appearance, at Wimbledon in 2015. Williams won that one in straight sets and also beat her in the Round of 16 at the Australian Open in 2015.
Anything can happen when the two get their match underway on Philippe-Chatrier Court on Saturday. Television coverage of the women's final will begin at 9 a.m. ET on NBC. Online streaming will be available for the match as well, on NBC Sports Live Extra.
