Angelique Kerber and Monica Puig will face eachother in the women’s singles finals to determine who will walk away with gold and who will earn silver at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Kerber, the second seed, will try and earn Germany a gold medal while Puig, who is unseeded, is playing for Puerto Rico.
Rio tennis 2016: Time, TV schedule and live stream for Saturday
The women’s singles medal matches will take place at the Rio Olympics on Saturday.

Play begins on Centre Court with the first men’s semifinal at 8 a.m. ET. Bravo will have television coverage throughout the day and NBC Sports will have plenty of live streams available.
They bested Madison Keys of the United States and Petra Kvitova of the Czech Republic, who will now face each other in the bronze medal match on Saturday as well. Keys will try and give the United States its second bronze medal after the team of Steve Johnson and Jack Sock took bronze in the men’s doubles bracket on Saturday.
The Williams sisters have both already been eliminated in huge upsets, so Keys is the last hope in the singles bracket.
On the men’s side, Andy Murray is favored to win the singles bracket, but he’ll first have to get through Kei Nishikori in the semifinals on Saturday. Murray is the defending champion in the men’s singles bracket after taking his first gold medal in London.
The other semifinal will feature Rafael Nadal, the third seed and gold medalist from 2008 (and doubles gold medalist this year), up against Juan Martin Del Potro of Argentina. Del Potro is unseeded, but he took down Novak Djokovic, the top seed, in the first round and is definitely in play to best Nadal on Saturday.
In mixed doubles, the team of Venus Williams and Rajeev Ram will be competing in a semifinal match against Rohan Bopanna and Sania Mirza. The team of Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Jack Sock will also be in action, up against Lucie Hradecka and Radek Stepanek.
