Olympic tennis 2016: Time, TV schedule and live stream for Tuesday

Here’s how you can watch Serena Williams and all of the other tennis action from the Olympics on Tuesday.

Andrew P. Scott-USA TODAY Sports

The fourth day of tennis action at the 2016 Rio Olympics is here, and while there have been many high profile upsets thus far, there are still plenty of stars in action on Tuesday. The biggest is Serena Williams, who survived some opening set stumbles in her Monday match against Alize Cornet to come back and win in straight sets.

That cleared Williams’ path to the round of 16, where she will face the tough No. 15 seed, Elina Svitolina. Williams is the only real hope for a gold medal in tennis for the United States, after her sister Venus Williams was eliminated on the opening day and after the pair of them together lost their first ever Olympic doubles match on Sunday.

Steve Johnson is still alive in the men’s singles bracket, the only one as the other three were eliminated on the first day of competition. Johnson is into the second round of the men’s bracket and will take on Gastao Elia on Tuesday.

Madison Keys, also still alive for the US in women’s singles, will have a tough opponent in Carla Suarez Navarro on Tuesday. Keys is the seventh seed while Suarez Navarro is the ninth seed. In men’s doubles action, Johnson and Jack Sock will be taking on the Spanish team of Roberto Bautista Agut and David Ferrer

Play on Tuesday will get underway around 10 a.m. ET on all courts, and television coverage will be carried throughout the day on Bravo, beginning at 9:30 a.m. NBC will provide a live stream of the action as well, with a link and all the information you need to watch below.
