Rafael Nadal looked fantastic in a four-set win over Gael Monfils in the Round of 16 at the Australian Open on Monday. Nadal, the ninth seed, is now one of the favorites to win with both Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic eliminated from the tournament.

Monfils, the sixth seed, managed to take the third set from Nadal but other than that, it was all Rafa. Nadal ended up winning their match, 6-3, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4.

Serena Williams also looked great in her matchup. When top seed Angelique Kerber was defeated in the Round of 16, Williams, the second seed, became the top-seeded woman. On Monday, she took down No. 16 Barbora Strycova in straight sets.

Williams advances to the quarterfinals, where she will face the tough Johanna Konta, the No. 9 seed. Konta took down No. 30 Ekaterina Makarova, 6-1, 6-4, to advance herself on Monday. Fifth seed Karolina Pliskova bested No. 22 Daria Gavrilova, 6-3, 6-3 and will take on the unseeded Mirjana Lucic-Baroni in another quarterfinal matchup after Lucic-Baroni made it through Jennifer Brady on Monday.

The other women’s quarterfinals, set for Tuesday, are already known. Seventh seed Garbine Muguruza will take on Coco Vandeweghe, while No. 13 seed Venus Williams will face No. 24 Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.

On the men’s side, the top remaining seed is Milos Raonic. The third seed, Raonic handled No. 13 Roberto Bautista Agut in four sets on Monday, winning 7-6(6), 3-6, 6-4, 6-1. Raonic and Nadal will meet in the quarterfinals. Eleventh seed David Goffin and No. 15 seed Grigor Dimitrov also won on Monday, beating No. 8 Dominic Thiem and Denis Istomin, respectively.

The first two men’s quarterfinals will pit No. 4 Stan Wawrinka against No. 12 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and No. 17 Roger Federer against Mischa Zverev, the unseeded player who took down Murray. The other two quarterfinals will be Raonic vs. Nadal and Goffin vs. Dimitrov, set for Wednesday in Melbourne.
