There was yet another upset in the Australian Open, this one at the expense of women’s seventh seed Garbine Muguruza. She fell victim to the unseeded Coco Vandeweghe, who also eliminated top seed Angelique Kerber and is playing what looks like the best tennis of her career.

Vandeweghe bested Muguruza, 6-4, 6-0, and will go on to the semifinals where she will face another tough opponent and compatriot in Venus Williams. The 13th seed of the tournament, Williams took down No. 24 Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, 6-4, 7-6(3). They will meet in one semifinal, while the other is still to be determined.

Second seed Serena Williams will take on ninth seed Johanna Konta and fifth seed Karolina Pliskova will face Mirjana Lucic-Baroni in the other quarterfinal matchups to determine the other half of the semifinals.

On the men’s side, fourth seed Stan Wawrinka made short work of 12th seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga. He advances to the semifinals, where he will meet Roger Federer. The 17th seed, Federer looks completely rejuvenated after missing large chunks of 2016 with injuries. He took down the unseeded Mischa Zverev in his quarterfinal. Zverev had eliminated top seed Andy Murray, but Federer made short work of him, 6-1, 7-5, 6-2.

The other men’s semifinal will depend on who wins the other quarterfinal matches. Third seed Milos Raonic will be taking on ninth seed Rafael Nadal, while 11th seed David Goffin will face 15th seed Grigor Dimitrov.

Below are the full singles results from Day 9 at the Australian Open.
