French Open 2017: Times, TV schedule, matches and live stream for Day 6 at Roland Garros

The 2017 French Open continues with the third round on Friday.

The 2017 French Open is shaking down to be quite interesting thus far, and on Friday the third round will get underway. Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Venus Williams and Garbine Muguruza will all be among the top players in action.

The day’s matches will begin at 11 a.m. local time in Paris, which means television coverage in the United States begins at 5 a.m. ET. The day’s coverage is expected to run throughout the afternoon, with a projected end time of 3 p.m. The Tennis Channel will broadcast the matches in the United States.

A live stream of the matches will be available via NBC Sports.

Djokovic will play his third-round match against Diego Schwartzman. Nadal, the favorite and the one with the most French Open titles to his name, will take on Nikoloz Basilashvili.

Milos Raonic, the fifth seed, will take on Guillermo Garcia-Lopez. Dominic Thiem, the sixth seed and a popular pick by experts, will take on his first seeded opponent in Steve Johnson, the No. 25-seeded American.

On the women’s side, Muguruza will also be taking on a seeded opponent in Yulia Putintseva, the No. 27 seed. Williams, who is playing in this tournament without her sister, who is out due to her pregnancy, is the 10th seed and will face Elise Mertens on Friday.
