French Open 2017: Times, TV schedule, matches and live stream for Friday at Roland Garros
The men’s semifinals will take place on Friday at the French Open.

Murray will take on Wawrinka while Nadal will face Thiem in the men’s singles semifinals, set to begin at 6 a.m. ET. The Tennis Channel will pick up coverage at that point and will run through 11 a.m., at which point NBC will take over through 2 p.m.
NBCSN could carry coverage for the second block if any kind of news takes over at NBC. A live stream of both matches will be available online at NBC Sports and via the NBC Sports app on various connected devices.
Murray is the top seed and is coming off a quarterfinals win over Kei Nishikori, a match that went four sets. Murray has been considered the underdog to Nadal and even Novak Djokovic despite being the top seed. Djokovic, the defending champion, was eliminated in the quarterfinals.
Thiem, the sixth seed, is the man who eliminated Djokovic and now has the tall task of beating Nadal, the fourth seed, on the clay surface. Nadal is often referred to as the “King of Clay,” and though injuries have slowed him in recent years, he’s looked incredible at this year’s French Open.
On top of that, Nadal only played a set against his quarterfinal opponent, Pablo Carreno-Busta, before that opponent had to retire from the match. He’s fresh, he’s motivated and Thiem, who has never won a Grand Slam, will have perhaps the tallest test of his entire career.
Murray and Wawrinka also met in the semifinal here a year ago, a match that Murray won before he wound up losing in the final.
