With the men’s field one top seed shorter, Wimbledon 2017 moves into its second day, and the favorites, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic, will be in action. Stan Wawrinka, the fifth seed, was eliminated on Day 1 while Andy Murray and Rafael Nadal made it through to the second round.
Wimbledon 2017: Time, TV schedule, live stream for Tuesday’s matches
Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Angelique Kerber, and others will be in action at Wimbledon on Tuesday.

Federer will open his bid against Alexandr Dolgopolov, while Djokovic will face Martin Klizan in his opener. On the women’s side, top seed Angelique Kerber will be in action against Irina Falconi.
Tuesday’s action will start bright and early on the grass courts of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. In the United States, play begins at 7 a.m. ET and will be broadcast by ESPN through 4 p.m. A live stream of all courts on the day is available online at WatchESPN and via the ESPN App on various connected devices.
Federer is a popular pick to win his eighth title at Wimbledon after he dominated on the grass courts of the Halle Open prior to this one getting started. He skipped the clay court season to keep himself fresh going into Wimbledon, and it looks like it’s worked out.
Djokovic has struggled over the past year, but he’s still the second seed and if he plays up to his potential, he could be in line for another Wimbledon title of his own. Other top-seeded men in action include Milos Raonic against Jan-Lennard Struff, Dominic Thiem against Vasek Pospisil, and Alexander Zverev against Evgeny Donskoy.
Thiem should be interesting to watch. He made it to the finals of the French Open after drubbing Djokovic in the semifinals in straight sets, but he lost to Nadal in straight sets himself. He’s likely got a few Grand Slam wins in him, but most think his chances are low on the grass courts of Wimbledon.
On the women’s side, Angelique Kerber lost in the first round of the French Open, becoming the first top seed in the Open Era to be bounced in the first round at Roland Garros. She shouldn’t have much issue with Irina Falconi. But then again, she was expected to win her first match at the French Open. She’s struggled of late to be sure.
Below is all you need to know to watch the action on Tuesday, and below that is a full list of singles matches containing seeded competition for the men’s and women’s brackets.
