Lyoto Machida defeated Dan Henderson via split decision on Saturday evening at UFC 157, which meant that Fuel TV analyst Chael Sonnen had to lick his co-hosts boot.
UFC 157: Chael Sonnen licks Rashad Evans’ shoe to pay off bet
Fuel TV analyst Chael Sonnen had to pay up on his bet with Rashad Evans after UFC 157.
“I just flat-out said, ‘if Dan Henderson loses to Lyoto Machida that I will lick Rashad’s shoe,” Sonnen told Jay Glazer during the post-fight show. “Here’s the shoe, a deal is a deal.”
Prior to the fight it was widely debated who would win between Henderson and Machida, with Sonnen obviously pulling for his former Team Quest teammate in Henderson. Sonnen’s over confidence in Henderson made for some good television however, as Rashad Evans presented his shoe on to the broadcasting table for Sonnen to lick.
