In 2017, Alabama had to finish a game against Minnesota with three players on the floor after numerous ejections and an injury. But the NBA has a rule that’s designed to keep games five on five — and that means, in very specific situations, you can rack up foul after foul and never have to leave the court. It’s happened on a few occasions, including Don Nelson’s last game as a head coach and the Lakers’ game Ryan and Charlotte discuss in this video.
