Jordin Canada will play in Unrivaled this offseason, becoming the latest WNBA standout to commit to the new 3-on-3 professional women’s basketball league.

Canada, who averaged 10.6 points, 5.8 assists, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.6 steals this past season, is one of the best guard defenders in the league.

The 29-year-old was named to the All-Defensive First Team in 2019 and 2023, and led the league in steals with 2.3 steals per game in 2023, setting a Los Angeles Sparks franchise record for total steals in a single season (86). Canada is the third Dream player to commit to Unrivaled, joining Allisha Gray and Rhyne Howard.

How Unrivaled will work

Unrivaled, co-founded by Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart, includes 36 of the league’s best players, 32 of whom have been announced. Players will be divided into six teams, and compete three nights a week in full-court 3-on-3 basketball.

The league will focus on player development and prioritize athletes’ needs, ensuring that players have the opportunity to stay in the U.S. during the WNBA offseason, rather than head overseas.
