WNBA Playoffs: Schedule, matchups, how to watch, where to watch

The Connecticut Sun host the Indiana Fever, the Las Vegas Aces host the Seattle Storm, and two other first-round matchups are set.

The WNBA playoffs are here, and first-round match-ups are set, with play beginning on Sunday, September 22nd.

The first round is a best-of-three series, with the higher-seeded team hosting the first two games, and the lower-seeded time hosting the deciding Game 3, if necessary.

The subsequent two rounds — the Semi-Finals and Finals — are each played best-of-five, with the higher-seeded team hosting the first two games, the lowest-seeded team hosting Game 3 and 4 (if necessary), and the higher-seeded team hosting Game 5 (if necessary).

Sunday, September 22nd is an all-day affair — nationally-televised games will be played at 1pm, 3pm, 5pm, and 10pm ET. First-round games will continue on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

The Semi-Finals will begin on Sunday, September 29th and will be wrapped up by Tuesday, October 8th. The Finals will begin on Thursday, October 10th, and conclude by Sunday, October 22nd.

#1 New York Liberty vs #8 Atlanta Dream

Game 1 will be in New York on Sunday, September 22nd at 1pm ET (on ESPN)
Game 2 will be in New York on Tuesday, September 24th at 7:30pm ET (on ESPN)
Game 3, if necessary, will be in Atlanta on Thursday, September 26th, time TBD (on ESPN2)

#2 Minnesota Lynx vs #7 Phoenix Mercury

Game 1 will be in Minnesota on Sunday, September 22nd at 5pm ET (on ESPN)
Game 2 will be in Minnesota on Wednesday, September 25th at 9:30pm ET (on ESPN)
Game 3, if necessary, will be on Phoenix on Friday, September 27th, time TBD (on ESPN2)

#3 Connecticut Sun vs #6 Indiana Fever

Game 1 will be in Connecticut on Sunday, September 22nd at 3pm (on ABC)
Game 2 will be in Connecticut on Wednesday, September 25th at 7:30pm (on ABC)
Game 3, if necessary, will be in Indiana on Friday, September 27th, time TBD (on ESPN2)

#4 Las Vegas Aces vs #5 Seattle Storm

Game 1 will be in Las Vegas on Sunday, September 22nd at 10pm (on ESPN)
Game 2 will be in Las Vegas on Tuesday, September 24th at 9:30pm (on ESPN)
Game 3, if necessary, will be in Seattle on Friday, September 27th, time TBD (on ESPN2)

The winner of Liberty/Dream will face the winner of Aces/Storm
