The WNBA’s television broadcast schedules have been released, and Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever will play the most games on national television next season.

The Indiana Fever, Las Vegas Aces, and New York Liberty are slated to have the most national television-heavy schedule next season — in that order.

A stunning 41 of the team’s 44 regular season games will be nationally broadcast, the most for a single team in WNBA history.
Behind them, the Las Vegas Aces — who won the 2022 and 2023 WNBA championships — will have 33 games nationally broadcast. The Aces are led by three-time MVP A’ja Wilson, 2022 Finals MVP Chelsea Gray, and Olympic guards Jackie Young and Jewell Loyd.
The defending champion New York Liberty will have 32 games nationally broadcast. The Liberty finished with the league’s best record last year before defeating the Minnesota Lynx in a thrilling five-game Finals series. They’re headlined by two-time MVP Breanna Stewart, 2024 Finals MVP Jonquel Jones, and three-point specialist Sabrina Ionescu. The Liberty also recently acquired Natasha Cloud.
The Chicago Sky, headlined by Angel Reese, Kamilla Cardoso, and Ariel Atkins, will have 24 nationally televised games.
The Atlanta Dream, who acquired Brittney Griner and Brionna Jones in the offseason, will have 23 nationally-televised games.
The Dallas Wings, who are led by Arike Ogunbowale and are expected to draft Paige Buckers, are also slated for 23 national TV games.
The Phoenix Mercury, who have formed a new trio of stars with Alyssa Thomas, Kahleah Copper, and Satou Sabally, will have 21 nationally televised games.
The Minnesota Lynx, who lost in the NBA Finals and are led by All-Stars Napheesa Collier and Kayla McBride, will have 20 games.
The Seattle Storm — led by Skylar Diggins-Smith, Nneka Ogwumike, Gabby Williams, and Ezi Magebgor — will play 19 games on national TV
The WNBA’s newest team, the Golden State Valkyries, will play 17 games on national television — which will span ABC, Prime Video, CBS, CBS Sports Network, ION and NBA TV.
The Connecticut Sun and Washington Mystics will each have 16 national TV games.
The Indiana Fever were the WNBA’s most-watched team last year
It’s no surprise that the Fever leads the pack. Last year, the Fever’s national TV appearances averaged 1.18 million viewers per game, while all other WNBA games drew a relatively 394,000 viewers on average, per Sportico. The league’s top-rated games last season all involved the Fever, with the most-watched WNBA game in ABC history, a matchup between the Seattle Storm and Indiana, amassing 2.23 million views.
WNBA star Caitlin Clark is largely responsible for the Fever’s popularity, as she brought with her a substantial following from college basketball and has emerged as one of the sport’s most popular athletes, male or female.
