Early returns for WNBA All-Star voting are in, and Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark once again tops the list, racking up 515,993 fan votes. Not too far behind her is Minnesota Lynx star Napheesa Collier, who has accrued 484,758 votes after leading the WNBA in scoring this season.

Caitlin Clark and Napheesa Collier headline the list, the Indiana Fever are well-represented, and other initial takeaways.

What stands out about voting results
Of note, four of the top 10 vote-getters are on the Indiana Fever, with Clark (No. 1), Aliyah Boston (No. 3), Kelsey Mitchell (No. 7), and Lexie Hull (No. 9) headlining the list.
Two New York Liberty players — Breanna Stewart (No. 5) and Sabrina Ionescu (No. 8) are in the top 10.
In addition, two rookies are in the top 10 — Dallas Wings guard Paige Bueckers (No. 6) and Washington Mystics forward Kiki Iriafen (No. 10).
How WNBA All-Star voting works
Fans will account for 50% of the vote, while players and media will account for 25% each. After all votes are tallied, players will be ranked by position (guard and frontcourt) within each of the three voting groups – fan votes, player votes, and media votes. The four guards and six frontcourt players with the best score will be named as WNBA All-Star starters.
The league’s head coaches will then select the 12 reserves. In total, 22 players will be named All-Stars. The All-Star game itself will take place on July 19th in Indianapolis.
