WWE Extreme Rules 2016: Time, TV schedule and live stream

It’s time to forget the rules and get extreme. Here’s all the info on how to watch WWE’s latest pay-per-view.

Bill Hanstock is a writer, author and Emmy Award-winning producer. He began writing for SB Nation in 2011.

Sunday night, WWE will present Extreme Rules, the annual pay-per-view where everyone gets a little reckless and most matches feature stipulations of some kind. Expect a lot of chair shots and a lot of people falling through and into things.

The event begins at 8 p.m. ET on pay-per-view and the WWE Network. If you subscribe to WWE Network (still only $9.99 a month), you’ll be able to stream Extreme Rules live on any number of devices. There will be an hour-long, live pre-show beginning at 7 p.m. on the network, which features a no-disqualification match between Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziggler.

Even better: WWE is currently offering a free month if you sign up for the Network, so if you just go here and join, you get Extreme Rules for free!

If you prefer to watch through your cable box, Extreme Rules will set you back a minimum of $54.99 to order on traditional pay-per-view. Many large providers, like Time Warner Cable and Charter, will still carry the PPV, even though some providers like Dish Network and DIRECTV have dropped WWE’s PPVs from their schedule.
