On Friday, WWE announced that Ariane Andrew, also known as Cameron, has been released from the company. Her release was part of a wave of Friday WWE releases that began with Hornswoggle, El Torito, Zeb Colter and Alex Riley.
WWE releases former ‘Total Divas’ star Cameron
The former Funkadactyl is the latest WWE star to be released.

Cameron debuted with WWE as part of a relaunch of Tough Enough in 2011. In recent years, she was a main cast member of the Total Divas reality show on E! for the first three seasons and was a recurring guest in Season 4. She did not appear onscreen at all in the most recent season, which just wrapped up.
After appearing in Tough Enough, Cameron was signed to a WWE developmental contract and assigned to Florida Championship Wrestling. She made her WWE main roster debut in 2012, along with Naomi, as part of the Funkadactyls, who were Brodus Clay’s cheerleaders.
On Thursday, Cameron posted a lengthy defense of Ryback’s recent outspoken issues with the company and their pay structure. She hasn’t been shy in the past of airing her grievances on social media.
