The battle of secondary champions went to SmackDown Live on Sunday, when Baron Corbin defeated The Miz to get the first win of the night for SmackDown’s team.
Survivor Series 2017 results: Baron Corbin knocks off The Miz
‘SmackDown’ finally has its first win of the night.

Corbin won the United States Championship from AJ Styles on SmackDown Live over a month ago, while Miz has been Intercontinental champion since the summer. These two didn’t get much to build their match, although some entertaining Twitter promos got them attention.
As always, Miz was accompanied by his Miztourage of Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas. Even Maryse was at ringside, her first TV appearance in a while after getting pregnant. So of course Corbin was side-eyeing her while beating up Miz on the floor.
Corbin dominated the majority of the match, but Dallas helped turn the tide by chop-blocking Corbin. This allowed Miz to take back over. He hit another chop block and locked Corbin in a Figure Four. Corbin escaped and hit Deep Six for two. He dragged the Miztourage into the ring and hit End of Days on Dallas, but Miz nearly pinned him with a rollup.
A DDT on Corbin got a two-count for Miz, who then hit Corbin with the Yes Kicks and running dropkicks into the corner. However, Corbin caught him out of nowhere and got the pin with End of Days.
