Much like when your roommate helped you recall the debauchery, so to are we here to help you sort out yesterday’s sports madness.

Les Has Two Games Left at LSU
Michigan received permission from LSU to “discuss” their head coach vacancy (see also: offer position) to Les Miles. We’re just not so sure Miles will be receptive. What ties does he have to Michigan, really? Well, other than playing there, coaching there and meeting his wife there. But you know, other than that, there isn’t much of a bond.
Twins Finally Make That Blockbuster Deal
No, no, not that deal. Minnesota sent Matt Garza, Jason Bartlett and some youngin’s to Tampa for Delmon Young and Brendan Harris. With Santana on his way out, trading starting pitching might not be the greatest idea. But maybe they can get a 4.50 ERA stud like Phillip Hughes.
Not to Beat a Dead Horse ...
... And that dead horse is obviously the Big Ten. They won three of eleven Challenge games, which is one more than we thought they’d take (Penn St over Va. Tech was surprise). Mike DeCourcy has some suggestions for improving the event. The words “mercy rule” are involved.
