Hockey Coach Fancies Himself a Baseball Manager

By Chris Mottram
Implosions such as the one you’re about to see are usually reserved for old and/or fat, crotchety baseball managers, what with all the Gatorade and bat (or in this case, stick) tossing. But this wasn’t on the diamond, it went down on the ice during a minor league hockey game in Bakersfield, CA:

Nice work by the goalie there as well, tipping the cage over. I can’t say I’ve seen that before. He was apparently upset because there was no call after his face mask was knocked off by a high stick.
This video combined with the fact that there were five (5!) fights at the last Charlotte Checkers game my buddy went to equates to one thing: Minor league hockey will soon be my favorite sport.
