Perhaps Isiah Should Try Insulting His Own Players

You can toss a penny out the window these days and find a funny, damning Isiah story. It’s gotten to the point where it’s bigger news if the Knicks coach stops at a stop sign, or does something else typical of sane human beings.
But here’s one that simply must be reported. As you know, Dikembe Mutombo has been valuable to a Rockets team that has accomplished much. This despite being at least forty-two years of age, and having claimed this season was his last. At a tribute ceremony last night, Mutombo claimed he might yet come back for one last hurrah.

What keeps him going? A comment Isiah made four years ago, of course.

Add motivational speaker to Isiah’s resume. If only that man could learn to take advantage of the incredible powers he does have. ↵
