↵Every season, EA Sports’ NCAA Football franchise creates a lot of excitement, if for no other reason than the fact that it’s a sure sign we’re close to the real games.

↵This year, armed with the EA Locker feature to download fully edited rosters, there was an actual gameplay element to be excited about. But, as mentioned in yesterday’s review, this started happening:

↵EA has yet to return comment on the issue, although numerous sites indicate EA is aware of the roster issue and working a patch. The functions of downloading/editing rosters have not only been tied to disappearing teams, but they’ve also been tied to multiple reports of game freezes in online dynasty.

↵From my own personal experience, a roster download from FAIRDALE KINGS caused Florida Atlantic and Florida International to vanish. Some users are reporting success with the roster file from Xbox Live gamertag EARosters com (make sure there’s a space), and I’m hoping to test that file this evening. (SN still won’t let me plop my 360 into my cubicle.) So that’s where we stand with the EA Locker disaster of Two Thousand And Eight. As soon as there is any word on a patch, I’ll be sure to post the information.↵
