FirstCuts: Madden 09 Demo Out Today On DVD

As I’ll detail later today, EA is having its fair share of issues at the moment, but I doubt that’s going to stop a soul from buying Madden 09 this season. With that being said, I don’t doubt there’s a rabid fan or two that might rush out today and grab the DVD NFL: In Just One Play, which will feature a copy of the demo.↵↵Because I consider myself to be a sane human being, I can wait until the demo gets its Xbox 360-only release on Aug. 1. ↵↵⇥This will not be a typical demo. Instead of traditional gameplay with reduced quarter length it will feature time in the virtual trainer and then head into one of the “Madden Moments”, this one from the Super Bowl. Only the offensive team will be controlled (in this case the Giants seem likely). Commentary has been excluded due to demo size limitations.↵↵↵If any intrepid TSB readers rush out to the local big box shop to pick up the DVD, drop us a comment and give us your impressions. None of us were lucky enough to hit the premiere event in NYC, so you’ll have hands-on time with the game before us, jerks.↵
