Last year Lance Moore burst onto the fantasy scene, establishing himself as Drew Brees’ favorite target while Marques Colston was down, hauling in ten touchdowns and nearly 1000 yards. But so far this year, the diminutive Moore has been hampered by injuries, leaving him a relative afterthought in the fantasy community. So what, if anything, should we expect from him going forward?
Whither Lance Moore?
↵Jeff Duncan of the New Orleans Times-Picayune thinks Moore will work in as the team’s third receiver, with Colston and Devery Henderson lining up as the starters. Given how often the Saints use three receiver sets, there should be plenty of opportunities for Moore to rack up numbers. And considering how Henderson has been such a boom-or-bust player throughout his career, it would seem that Moore should have an opportunity to get back in the starting lineup.
↵The bottom line: stash Moore if you have room on your bench, and hope he can re-establish the chemistry he had with Brees last year.
