According to the Indy Star, Bob Sanders didn’t leave the game early on Sunday because of injury, but because he was choosing to shut it down for the day and ice his legs.
Bob Sanders Not Injured, Just Doing ‘Post-Performance Training’
Sanders had this to say after the game:
“After halftime, there was no swelling, which is what I’ve been looking for,” he said. “I made some cuts out there I wasn’t real sure about going into the game. So I feel like I did OK. I’ve still got to get my feet underneath me, but with more reps and practice, that’ll come.”
