Ken Griffey Jr. Undergoes Arthroscopic Knee Surgery
Seattle Mariners designated hitter Ken Griffey Jr. underwent arthroscopic surgery to remove a bone spur on his left knee Monday in Cincinnati, according to a statement released by the club.
Griffey, 39, was bothered by the knee through much of the past season and had fluid drained several times in order to keep playing.
