The AP reports that for the first time since suffering a concussion two weeks ago, Bills QB Trent Edwards was back on the practice field for the first time on Wednesday.

Edwards will sit out this weekend’s game against the Texans, and his status for beyond that has yet to be determined. The Bills have a bye the following week, but head coach Dick Jauron has refused to comment on whether Edwards will resume starting for the Bills given that backup Ryan Fitzpatrick has won the last two weeks.
