Texans Ready For Liftoff

That noise you hear is a collective sigh of relief from anyone who owns any Texan upon hearing that all-world wideout Andre Johnson should be good to go for this weekend’s game against the Bills. While Johnson’s owners are obviously thrilled that he apparently won’t miss any time, his presence in the lineup is key for other Texans as well. Indeed, while Matt Schaub’s value is clearly tied to Johnson, so are the other key Texans. Teams roll coverage AJ’s way, opening things up for Owen Daniels across the middle, and for Steve Slaton, as teams play their safeties back from the line of scrimmage. In short, Johnson makes what would likely be an above average unit in his absence into an elite one.
