Flipping over to the Notre Dame-Washington game for a moment, my friend said to me “Have you seen Golden Tate the past few weeks?” And right on cue, after 67-yard touchdown earlier this afternoon, Golden Tate caught the ball on a slant and ran 80 yards down to the 2-yard line, to set up a Notre Dame touchdown an impressive goal line stand by the Washington Huskies, forcing the Irish into a chip shot field goal.
Golden Tate is Really Good, Washington Goalline D is Better: ND 19, UW 17
Still, Golden Tate. Coolest name in sports, also really good.
(In other news, the 7-6 Georgia-LSU game is like every SEC I ever remember watching.)
