Fans have been joking all week about this one—a face off between the most unwatchable team in football (Rams) and a slightly less unwatchable team (Lions), in what you might call the Super Bowl of Irony. Well, true to form, the teams were battling it out late in the first half, with the Rams clinging to a 3-2 lead. Really. Then, St. Louis broke things wiiiiide open on a fake field goal that went for a touchdown. Indeed, the first half lived up to its atrocious billing.
Rams 10, Lions 2. Football Fans, 0.
↵And at this point, I’m just waiting for the Lions to kick 3 field goals and win the game 11-10. That’s the only appropriate ending, right?
