Following his loss to Kendall Grove at UFC 106 Jake Rosholt has been cut from the UFC. From Jake’s Twitter account:

Not a good day. Just found out I got cut by the #UFC
Rosholt is very talented but he clearly has some work to do to get up to that top level. I don’t think this diminishes his status as a blue chip prospect, he just needs more seasoning against lower tier competition. In fact, it’s possible that no one was hit harder by having to come over to the UFC from the WEC when they got rid of their bigger divisions.
A little time in a promotion like Strikeforce could do Jake a world of good.
