Jeff Klein of the New York Times has a look at the top ten players that have scored the majority of their team’s goals this season. The top player is Marian Gaborik, who has 25.5% of the Rangers’ goals so far in 2009. The others in the top five are Steven Stamkos, Sidney Crosby, Mike Cammalleri and Jarome Iginla.

↵While scoring a lot of goals does help a team, having the New York Rangers relying on Gaborik for the entire season may be questionable. Gaborik has had his fair share of injuries in his career: he only played 17 games last season and played just 48 games back in the 2006-07 season.
