- First Round Management confirms Alves v. Fitch for the 27th

This is a rematch of a fight from Ultimate Fight Night 5 which was won by Fitch. It was originally scheduled to take place at UFC 107 but Alves injured his knee. UFC 111 is rumored to be headlined by a fight between Georges St. Pierre and Dan Hardy for the promotion’s welterweight championship.
