In the final fight of the tenth season of The Ultimate Fighter, Roy Nelson caught Brendan Schaub with a right hand that knocked him out cold.Throughout the first round Schaub was winning the punching exchanges using speed and a solid jab. At one point in the early part of the round Nelson was able to get a takedown and work to side control but Brendan was able to scramble back to his feet and avoid any significant damage or submission threats.

However in an exchange “Big Country” caught Schaub behind the ear, knocking him out. Nelson threw one more punch to the downed Schaub and the fight was over.
