Just days after I write my lament about the demise of 1/2 mile short tracks in NASCAR with a little focus on North Wilkesboro complete with a link to pictures about the abandoned track nascar.com has a story about the town and the storied race track.
Time of The Year
If I had an inflated ego I’d be wondering who at nascar.com reads my blog so they could get such a great idea to write about.
But I don’t. Whenever we get to short track season (if you can call it that) these kinds of stories come out of the woodwork - especially since this week’s race is at Texas and they got this race date from North Wilkesboro.
Besides with all the info contained in the story it would have to been started long before I wrote my little quip-laced post.
