Another day closes here at the SB Nation writer’s mock draft. Only a few picks remain with Baltimore up again after selecting Hakeem Nicks in the first round.
Baltimore Ravens select CB Jairus Byrd, Oregon. Byrd is a 5' 10", 200 pound junior declaring early for the NFL Draft. The All PAC-10 player lead the conference in interceptions in 2008 and totalled 17 picks in his college career. He is also the son of former San Diego Charger CB Gill Byrd.
MTD thoughts: Byrd is slightly a reach here,but he's a physical cornerback who could thrive in Baltimore's system.
