I’ve professed my undying love affair with MLB Network in this space before, so I won’t make you all jealous by going into detail about how well our relationship is blossoming. (It still tells me every night how beautiful I am.) Still, even the honeymoon stage is bound to have a hiccup or two. Enter Matt Vasgersian, who did this last night:↵

↵↵Vasgersian’s first slip-up on MLB Network -- you know, the one where he dropped the f-bomb -- was at least funny. Mostly because it wasn’t racist-y. Comparing a black guy to a more famous black guy simply because they’re both black and wear similar headgear is never a good idea. Although attempts at humor while someone is being carted off the field with a neck injury are always appreciated. Well timed, sir. ↵
