Next Up For Serena Williams, Who is the Best in the World at Everything: Screenwriting

Little know fact about me: I’m incredibly wealthy. Well, I’m not actually rich as of right now. But in my head, I’m the richest man in the world. Although I don’t have any money in the bank yet. That’s my goal though: to be rich. It’s totally possible, so I just like to tell people that I’ve already achieved it. That makes sense, right? ↵↵Whatever, I don’t need your acceptance. Serena Williams knows where I’m coming from. I know this because here is what she had to say today about her next career goal:↵
↵↵⇥“I’ve been writing, but I haven’t been writing. In my mind I’ve been saying I want to write, but I haven’t actually physically picked up a pencil and started writing,” the U.S. Open and Australian Open champion said. ↵⇥↵⇥“So that is my next challenge, to actually to sit down and do it. No [not my life story]. A screenplay. Nothing is impossible.”↵⇥
↵↵Actually, not true: Serena not being the best tennis player in the world at all times is, in fact, impossible. See, technically she is ranked No. 2 in the world right now behind Dinara Safina, which must be some sort of typo, right Serena*?↵↵⇥“We all know who the real number one is,” Williams told a news conference at the Italian Open on Monday. “Quite frankly, I’m the best in the world.” ↵↵Don’t be surprised to see Serena crash the acceptance speech for Best Screenplay at the 2014 Academy Awards, rip away the mic and say those exact words. “Second best” and “Serena Williams” don’t belong in the same breath -- her daddy taught her that.

*We have heard this from Serena before. And I'm sure we will again.
