But wait, don’t the Browns already have Derek Anderson and Brady Quinn competing in the world’s least interesting quarterback competition? And didn’t Mangini bring along his favorite former Jet, Bret Ratliff, to be the team’s third quarterback? Yes on both counts. So unless Mangini wants to mix and match quarterbacks Spurrier-style, the loser of the epic Anderson-Quinn competition might want to start renting.
