Tiger Ties For Fifth With 3-Under on Thursday

Tiger is almost impossible to beat when he starts hot (unless you’re Y.E. Yang, I guess), so the leaderboard at the BMW Championship at Cog Hill will need to be wary tomorrow. Tiger is already on the prowl (sorry):

Well, what Woods did during Thursday was impressive: He made four birdies and only one bogey in firing a 3-under 68, good for a fifth-place tie after one round of the BMW Championship component of the FedEx Cup.“I hit the ball well all day,” he said.

Oh, Tiger. Your quotes are so deliciously, intentionally awful. You saying you hit the ball well all day is like me saying I could use some work on my swing.
