Remember when the Shawne Merriman and Tila “Tequila” Nguyen incident was supposed to be about him forcibly trying to stop her from drunk driving? Fortunately for the more voyeuristic among us (ahem), the story emerging is far more ridiculously awful.

Shawne Merriman, Tila Tequila and the Naked Angry Threesomes

↵↵Turns out, according to a report published by News10.com (via PFT), sources at Merriman’s home that night said Nguyen wasn’t too thrilled about Merriman being together with two other women in his bedroom. She stormed in on them, made a big scene and threatening to have sex with a member of his entourage. When that tantrum ended, the intoxicated Nguyen proceeded to strip naked and marched out of the house (a naturally level reaction for anyone who’s upset). That’s when Merriman decided to intervene to keep her from leaving.↵
↵↵As we know by now, Nguyen claims she was choked and restrained by the Chargers linebacker, though sources at the home say she faked a neck injury before calling the police. When paramedics arrived, they found her to be unharmed. ↵
↵
↵Nguyen's attorney has called Merriman's denial of her assault claims "spin." Unlike Merriman, however, who, some would say smartly, has only opted to discuss the case through statements to the press, Nguyen has been taking to Twitter to air her often all-caps objections to what is being reported to have happened.↵
↵↵A small sampling:↵
↵↵Where else in the law does it say “B---H WOULDN’T SLEEP WITH ME AND ALL MY FRIENDS.....SO CHOKE HER AND BEAT HER!” umm...NO!↵
↵↵Where in the law does it say “IF UR FRIEND IS DRUNK....MAKE SURE TO BEAT HER AND CHOKE HER”.....NO!↵
↵↵But regardless...no matter what his excuses are about me...no matter WHAT....u just DO NOT CHOKE AND HARM A FEMALE!!!!!! GOD BLESS UR SOUL!↵
↵↵Because my story....is the truth....and the only person I need to tell that to is the Judge. Not the media...only a guilty person does that↵
↵↵Wish me luck guys! Im going 2 San Diego tomorrow 2 speak w/the DA!↵
