Former NHL Player Danton Released From Prison

If you don’t recall the bizarre story of former hockey player Mike Danton’s arrest, you can read up here. It’s pretty incredible stuff. Stuff that got Danton sent to jail for 7 1/2 years for hiring a hit man to kill his agent. (Or, as he now claims, his father.)

↵Today, however, that sentence was cut short as he was granted full parole after spending five years in prison.
